Folks it’s been a rough week or so here on the coast. The wind has blown, it rained like crazy, and we haven’t seen the last of it yet. This has kept most of us tied up at the dock. A few of us have slipped out during moments of decent weather and have been able to get on some fish. The Trout are still around and the Redfish and Sheepshead are still biting.
The good news is that some of the best fishing of the year is right around the corner. Towards the end of this month the Tripletail should show up, the Whiting will be thick on the beaches, and the reefs should be loaded with Summer Trout and Bull Redfish.
If you are planning a charter fishing trip for Spring Break or Summer vacation now is the time to do it. Most of us are booking up quickly for the weekends over the next few months and dates will only fill faster as we get closer to Summer. If you planning on fishing while you are vacationing in coastal Georgia just give me a call. If I am booked I will gladly help you find a qualified guide to handle your fishing excursion.
Here’s to tight lines and better weather!
