Epic Tripletail Fishing Today

Jekyll Island Tripletail FishingMy customer Mike and I headed out for some inshore fishing and Tripletail fishing today. The Trout weren’t really cooperating and we were catching some Ladyfish and Bluefish with one Sheepshead mixed in so we decided to head out and get after some Tripletail.

The ocean was flat calm and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. It didn’t take us long to start seeing some fish and we put two keepers in the boat in no time.

The fish were popping up everywhere and we were able to get some great fish to eat. We had a few pick pocket the bait and some we just plain got outsmarted by.

As much as I hate to kill these fish, Mike was able to take home some Tripletail fillets. The thrill for me was watching these awesome fish take the bait and scorch some drag.

Looking forward to more great great Tripletail fishing and hopefully more tagging and releasing.

Tight lines!
