Well this weekend was a total bust. The fishing was really starting to be something to get excited about, but the weather has other ideas. Between the rain, thunderstorms, and gale force wind events we are forced to cancel our trips this weekend. Hopefully it will be past us by the middle of the week.
Please keep up with the fishing reports and sign up for the email list. I will do my best to let you know when the fishing is great, good, or poor and what to look forward to in the coming weeks and months.
One awesome thing that you are sure to see very soon is the newly formed Coastal Georgia Guides Association. A few of us felt the need to come together to help our visitors find the best guides in the area. We are in the final stages of developing the website and I am very excited to launch it soon. The CGGA will ensure that people find the right captain for the type of fishing trip they would like to do. We will have captains offering everything from kid’s fishing camps to hardcore offshore trips and fly fishing.
I wish I could tell you all about the fishing, but unfortunately I’m forced to ramble on while I wait for the weather to pass.
Life is good!

We want to go out on Wednesday for nearshore or inshore… staying at jekyll island campground but just until Thursday and wanted to be able to catch and keep a few… is it possible? It’s just me and my wife for 1/2 day trip.
