Bull Redfish Guide – St. Simons Island – Jekyll Island – St. Marys, GeorgiaLately I have been hearing stories about everyone catching Bull Redfish while I have been mostly targeting Trout and light tackle Redfish. Well the past several days I have been running one Bull Red trip after another and the bite has been anywhere between good and spectacular!
The bite has been best when the weather has allowed us to get out in front of the island. Right now anything less than a double digit catch on a half day seems like a failure. On days when the weather has been bad, like yesterday, we have retreated into the river where the bite has not been as steady but the fish are bigger.
We’ve also had some bonus guest with some big spinner sharks, finetooths, black noses, and whiting. We even had a really cool manatee pay us a visit at the dock yesterday and drink from the water hose for 30 minutes.
The Trout bite is picking up and getting on track for a great Fall season. The phone is ringing for November dates so I suggest booking now if you want to reserve any weekend or holiday fishing.

Hi I was looking into fishing for some bull redfish or a flood tide in mid November, do you know if you’ll have a flood tide available or if there are still bulls around then?
