Went out this morning and wasted no time in dispatching a limit of Georgia Trout. On the outgoing tide the bite was hit and miss. We would catch a few fish here and there but never really found a bite that we could sink our teeth into.
As the current slowed down closer to low tide we switched it up to the jigs and went to work on them. Trout were flying across the gunwales and we put a 30 Trout limit in the box quickly.
The weather continues to be very warm and the water temps are staying in the perfect range as a result. If you were waiting for Spring to come down and fish in coastal Georgia I would scrap that plan and head down now!
Tight lines!
