ST. SIMONS ISLAND GEORGIA INSHORE FISHING - SPRING SEASON TROUT AND REDFISH INSHORE
IN SEASON NOW! In the rivers and sounds, Speckled Trout and Redfish are almost always willing to bite in the spring months each season in coastal georgia around St. Simons island, Jekyll Island and Sea Island. Sometimes, a bit of patience, running time and looking around is required to catch good numbers of Speckled Trout, but it's worth it and they're a blast to catch on ultra light fishing tackle and they're great eating as well.

A bit closer to the beaches and river mouths that engulf our local area, fishermen are getting thier moneys worth and stretching their string on HARD FIGHTING TROPHY SIZE BULL REDFISH UP TO 45 POUNDS!! THIS IS OUR MOST POPULAR TRIP for a shot at HUGE fish only minutes from the dock. The bull Redfish in the sounds and rivers are big, fun to catch, and almost always wlling to bite which makes this trip a top pick for this time of year!

The coastal GA reefs offer breeding size (large) Sheepshead in big numbers this time of year. In many cases the fish can reach close to 10-11 pounds! It has been excellent all season long when the seas have allowed.. During this time of year, the fish are stacked around 10-12 miles offshore in good numbers. As the water temperature gets warmer and wamer, we will set sights on many other types of bottom fish and the live bait trolling "striking fish" normally bite in the warmer water temperatures.

As spring turns into summer and the water temperature pushes upward (May, June, July, August, September, October) in the coastal GA offshore waters, see below what the rewards are likely to be... St. Simons Island Georgia Shark Fishing Charters: The Georgia Coast offers shark fishing charters like no other. They prowl the channels and sandbar areas in droves while charter fishing off St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island in coastal Georgia. This prehistoric fish is legendary for its fighting ability. Some fisherman catch their first shark by accident, when they catch a fish and a shark tries to take it way from him, getting hooked in the process. Sharks can be sight-fished and will go after bait in certain areas. Many people catch sharks on fishing charters just for fun, taking video and photos of the battle and then release them. Georgia shark fishing charters are becoming very well known about as an estuary and breeding ground for many shark species between st. simons island and jekyll island georgia.
St. Simons Island Georgia Tarpon Fishing Charters: This silver giant is not easy to catch and not easy to get to the boat. But hooking one will give you the thrill of a lifetime.
