Every Spring comes with challenges. The water temperature bounces up and down and the fish are scrambling all over the place to stay comfortable and certain species wait for the magic number before moving back into the area.
The wait is finally over! The inshore fishing is pretty good right now and we’ve had some great days of Trout fishing as well as Tripletail fishing.
We try to make it easy on you. You don’t have to decide what kind of fish you want to target. Just let us know a little bit about your group and what kind of experience you would like to have and we’ll make some suggestions and come up with a game plan. We’re also happy to do a “captain’s choice” or as we like to call it a “best bite trip” where the captain targets what he feels gives you the best chance of success.
Of course you can feel free to let us know if there is something specific that you would like to do.
Nearshore we are catching some big sharks and we’re still picking up a few Bull Redfish.
On the nearshore reefs the Cobia have shown up in force as well as Spadefish.
On top of all that we are still catching plenty of Sea Bass, Whiting, Ladyfish, Bluefish, and other “less prestigious” fish that are still a lot of fun to catch.
On our kids trips we are catching piles of small sharks and Whiting so go ahead and reserve your family fishing trip to make sure that you get the day that you want.
We’ve been fortunate to add a new boat to our company and we are ready to book it now! It’s a 25 foot Sea Hawk with plenty of room for 6 people. I still recommend keeping your fishing charter to 4 anglers, but on Shark fishing trips and kids trips 6 people is no problem.
Just give us a call and let us tailor a trip that will best accomplish your goals. Prices are going up after June 1st so book early to lock in the current prices.
