St. Simons Island - Georgia Charter Fishing Credentials/Licenses

Please click on the following images to view updated credentials required by the State and Federal Government to operate a charter fishing boat. Most of these licenses are mandatory to operate a charter fishing boat here on Georgia.

These licenses are held by each charter boat operator in our group. State and Federal law does not require these licenses to be posted, but will require this very soon.

The Above licenses are required by the State of Georgia to operate a charter fishing boat.

The license below is required by the Federal Government for ANYONE to Operate a boat with paying passengers on board. This one is most commonly referred to as a "Captains License". There are many levels, but only basic operator is required. Capt. Richie Lott holds an upgraded "Master Captain" certificate with a Radar Endorsement.
